I am running a 2.5" in my 98 Jetta and it is more than adequate and
just BEARLY fits under the car. Remember that the flex joint is
ABSOLUTELY necessary for the exhaust unless you want to be replacing
the pipe again and again. The cat will also have to stay in line but
the connections to it can be disconnected as they are not used any
longer and were superceded by latter ECU changes. hayden

" Those who are willing to sacrifice Liberty for Security, deserve
neither Liberty nor Security." Ben Franklin
"Dictatorships all have common factors: a government controlled by
one party, a leader who claims to have special powers outside the law
to keep the country "safe", secret prisons where people are locked up
without charges or trial and government opponents are branded as
unpatriotic and charged with aiding the enemy."
