[Vwdiesel] Fuel Leaks

I have the original hoses going from the fuel tank to the steel lines under
the bed. The hoses look like they are saturated with fuel although they
don't drip. I have a dripping leak on the steel lines where they run
vertical under the bed and are "clipped" to the bed. Has anyone tried
replacing the hoses and making them extra long and running the hoses over
the steel lines to where they turn horizontal toward the front of the Caddy?
