[Vwdiesel] Fan thermo switch failure problem

  If it has/had a relay (2 speed fans only?) then someone may have 
bypassed it .  If you can get an ammeter and check the load the 
fan draws, it may be close to dying and is pulling too much 
current, frying the thermoswitch.  Might check the contacts at 
the thermoswitch also to make sure they aren't putting up 
resistance and heating up the switch, but since it's in the radiator 
it SHOULDN'T heat up THAT much.   Worth checking the 
possibilities though.
