You'll need to tack weld in a fuel filter mount where it is on an A1 TD,
which your donor car doesn't have. The cast downpipe from the turbo
is different A1 to A2, one should work on the other but possibly not the
other way around. I BELIEVE an A2 has the tighter bends and would
still work on an A1 but then a new flange and big exhaust all the way
(2 1/2") would be best by far. Air filter assy is different and needed.
Again A2 and A1 are different but should be interchangeable with
mounting points added to the pu.
Just finished one up a couple years ago but it was an A1 TD into an
A1 pu. That's all I can remember needing to do other than basic bolt
in. A few sensors etc. will be different and need to be swapped from
your original engine.
