  Ok, I come up with ~ $2.70 being about 15% higher than $2.35.  Sucks
yes, price should be less than reg yes.  BUT (and lets just keep this 
between us smarter and better looking folk) if your gas Jetta is making 
32mpg, you're breaking even at about 37mpg.  That should be about 
right for highway miles on a gasser and everyone but me makes better 
mileage than that with their Jetta.  ;-)  Thing is, the diesel is kinda like 
a hybrid in that it makes as good or sometimes better mileage in town 
as on the highway.  The gasser doesn't so your mileage differential is 
even better if you drive mostly city miles.
  Take a full size pickup, say it gets 14mpg gas then anything over 16mpg 
is better.  Put a load on it and the drop in mileage is far less on the 
diesel than the gas.
  We're still ahead but not like we should be.  :-P
