Expect gas pricesto skyrocket in the next few months. I heard a
report the other day about the removal of MTB as a gasoline additive
and being replaced by ethanol. Turns out that right now there is an
extreme shortage of ethanol available for mixing with the gasoline.
Report estimated that prices could jump 35-50 cents just on the basis
of that. Stir in Civil War in Iraq, those lunatics in Iran, the
attacks the other day on a Saudi oil refinery and the attacks on oil
facilities in Nigeria and you can expect a big leap in gas prices.
BTW saw an article today in my local paper showing that sales of big
SUVs has plummeted in the last few months. Some models, like the
Explorer, have had sales decrease of over 50% all but the new Tahoe
have shown sales drops of 20% or more. Hayden
