Thanks for all the suggestions... The problem with straight vegetable oils
is they dry and become sticky.....  especially in the cold....  

The great thing about diesel is it stays very "thin"...  (and gets
everywhere...)
Can anyone point me somewhere where I can find out what is actually in
bio-diesel... I know roughly what goes into making it but not what the
finished diesel is. 
Some kind of chemical breakdown breakdown I guess.

Lets face it "organic wool" with a "hint" of diesel is not a very good
selling point!!

Rod,

100 percent bio diesel is the answer. You can make bio diesel from Organic
vegetable oil. Or even straing, virgin vegetable oil might work as well.

Problem solved.
