I was quoted $131.54 by Forward Air today for 300 lbs., Boston to Seattle.
Very nice people to deal with also, they're going to get all my business.

I'll second that for Forward Air.

I shipped a crated, paletted complete engine from San Diego(a hub) to a
fellow in Va(DC was another hub). 240lbs or so total weight. I don't
remember the actual charge but it was in-line with the quote Roger said,
maybe a little more.
