[Vwdiesel] oil squirters

The crank won't "suck" anything, but the rods make their own oil pressure
because of the crank throw.
They just need a supply. Interrupt that supply, they quickly enter a world
of hurt, as the oil supply is insufficient to remove the heat of fricton,
the characteristics of the oil change, and the rod bearing goes poof.
Oil starvation at the head... that's why there are high volume oil pumps.
You need to go to the bigger oil pump if attempting this as well.
Half shaft, as in CV joint on either end?
You guys that wear trunks and have boots on your car confuse the heck out of
me...

Now that's interesting; so the crank will suck even more oil through than
apparent shell wear would otherwise suggest and so increase risk of head
starvation?
Whilst on shell wear; can I just bend this thread slightly... Why do none of
my books over here in the UK talk much about the half shaft bearings?
Why are these bearings not in the kits I've previously bought? Odd pics I've
seen they look like crank shells...
