Now that's interesting; so the crank will suck even more oil through than 
apparent shell wear would otherwise suggest and so increase risk of head 
starvation?
Whilst on shell wear; can I just bend this thread slightly... Why do none of 
my books over here in the UK talk much about the half shaft bearings?
Why are these bearings not in the kits I've previously bought? Odd pics I've 
seen they look like crank shells...
