[Vwdiesel] Stock head gasket on 1.6TD, 2 hole or 3 hole?

Wouldn't a propane injection system be a bit safer than the ether ? I
know most the military trucks I worked on had the propane injection
system for cold weather starting, and they just used off the shelf 1
pound bottles you can get at wally world. Speaking of which, has anyone
seen something like that for cars ?
