[Vwdiesel] ether and cold starts: WAS Stock head gasket on 1.6TD, 2 hole or 3 hole?

No.
It will lock and not turn over quite easliy.
If you are planning on an esbar or webasto heater, stick with that. they
are great.
Shell 0-40 synth is a pretty good way to go too.
