[Vwdiesel] Strange "power surge"

The other possibility would be air in the fuel line. Dad's old GM almost
diesel would take off like a real screamer when it'd suck air just before
running out of fuel. The VW's tend to lose power as they see air so if
it's coming and going it could surge as it reaches proper power and drop
out as it gets air. Citroen could be either way. <shrug> Never saw a
diesel one in this country. Heck, I've only seen TWO OLD ones at all!
Price on diesel suddenly SUCKS here! $2.339 for regular gas and
$2.999 for diesel! Ouch!
