[Vwdiesel] Battery Charger

Strolling through Sam's Club, while waiting for a tire mount, 
I found a battery charge which looked interesting.  It was 
inverter based, with a microprocessor to control it.  The buttons
said it would boost (75amp) and had various charge levels.
Presumably there's also a desulfnation mode.

The model is Vector 1095, about $48.

I've found the website, www.vectormfg.com, but no reference to this 
model.

My existing charger is a conventional transformer type, with a
rheostat for charging motorcycle / small batteries.

Anyone have any experience with this charger?  

With more and more engines in the fleet, and with a corresponding 
number of batteries, having more than one charger is attractive.
Besides, hauling the Astrons out of the hamshack to the garage, when
I need serious amperage, can get tiring.
