This may cut your exhaust scavenging down substantially.  All cylinders 
coming to a common pipe allows the velocity from the exhaust stream of 
one cylinder to create some suction after the valve closes, in effect 
sucking out the exhaust from the next one to open.  Going too big also 
adversely affects this, but to a lesser extent.  That's why there's the 
little plate in the middle of the diesel manifold exit- to direct the 
stream to the pipe outlet, and create a scavenging effect.
