It might, but my guess is that in higher rpm's both sides of the turbo are 
pressurized more than the case (or at least I hope).  Also, if crank vent did 
travel up the oil return and past the oil seals of the turbo then it might 
hinder the flow of the oil in the oil return some, but I don't know that it would 
cause the oil to overcome gravity.  Some maybe.
