[Vwdiesel] hydraulic head oil pressure

Hi all, converted an Audi 1.6D to fit into my
Transporter... found that it has an hydraulic head and
where the oil pressure sensor (on the transporter)
sits on the back end of the head it just has a bolt to
plug the hole... I think the pressure sensor was on
the oil filter bracket...

Is there some special reason for this on an hydraulic
head?? or can I go ahead and put my pressure sensor in
the normal place in the head...
