[Vwdiesel] Headlight switch

Like Loren said, check grounds first.  For '91 and '92's the instrument 
cluster dimmer is a dial on the top of the headlight switch.  Earlier ones 
are different so they don't plug and play.  You can make them work if you 
cut away plastic in the right spots though.  The way I like to do it is to 
use a jumper wire straight into the plastic connector that plugs into the 
headlight switch.  Then I can send power to whatever circuit I want.  Do use 
a fuse.
