I've only ever used pumps with cast metal impellers, and I've never seen one fail either. I
have a new German one here, but don't know when it was made - it's my spare that I carry
around, and I haven't bought a new one for a few years now. Try asking Ron at
busdepot.com, if there is still an oem style pump, he can probably get it. I notice
autohausaz.com lists a Graf pump with cast impeller, but they don't specify what material...
