it's easier for anyone reading the archives if you don't change the
subject header when replying, just add, or allow your email client to
add the Re: thing to a reply... then all the conversation pertinent is
contained in the original header/ thread.
If you change the reply heading, your words hang in empty air, lost
forever... okay, mebbe not that bad, but to posterity, they are a reply
to no obvious topic.
