Dyno proven power?
Heh. the mental image of my old NA 1.6 diesel powered Jetta on a dyno is 
too much.

The savings in MPG will hardly pay for just the extra expense of the oil.
I don't disagree with the synth use, just question this as a reason to 
use it.  The XD-3 0W40 is a full PAO ester and looks like a pretty good 
oil.   Cheap too.  Have you ran it through a cold winter Derek?
