Having headstuds...

To get the head off, you have 3 choices...

1) Pull the cam, lift off the head. It is not hard at all. Just don't 
mix up the bearing caps.

2) Bend(and most likely deform) the rear cam cover

3) Pull the head studs then pull the head. Not a trivial job IMHO. 
Unless they are ARP with the nifty hex socket in the end, I don't see an 
easy way to do this, especially if they are sealed in place at all.
