[Vwdiesel] 1.9 NA diesel missing under power in '82 vanagon

Actually, looks like the fuel system needs cleaning.  Went back and looked
at the fuel filter I changed last night and it's got some sludge / algae (
brown stuff ) in it.  Ran the bus from a fresh can of diesel right to the
injection pump and no missing.  Be checking out the fuel system tomorrow.

Hi all,
     Searched the archives and not getting the info I need.  Last night I
noticed my '82 vanagon was missing under power and emitting white / blue
smoke when it was missing.  Idle seems fine.  I changed out the fuel filter
thinking that might be it but no change.  Hoping against hope not IP so
gonna pull the injectors and see how they look.  Any other easy ideas?  I
better investigate the fuel line coming form the fuel filter as well going
to the IP.  Engine is new 1.9 from Overland and has 10K miles on it.  Been
in the bus just short of a year now.
