[Vwdiesel] air in fuel line

Yep.
when the thermal valve thingy gets old, the o-ring on the top gets poor. 
  Since it's held in with a hairpin, you can't really put more pressure 
on it to get it to seal better, so I wound up wedging a thin wedge of 
wood under the hairpin, so it presses down better on the thermo-valve. 
Problem gone.
