I have thought it would be pretty awesome to put a 1.6 NA Jetta engine or
even a turbo version in a motorcycle frame. The cost of junk bikes seems to
be through the roof now however so such a project would be costly.
I recently acquired a 1974 Honda 360 twin with a siezed engine and am in the
process of turning it into an E-assisted bicycle so as to take advantage of
rules allowing use on the road without registration or insurance. I
stretched the frame 12 inches in the engine bay which now carries 400 lbs of
AGM sealed lead acid batteries.
