Much as Scott did, I sat up one night searching on Diesel motorcycles.  
I'm not a fan of bikes myself, preferring the roll cage and four airbags 
the TDI provides me, but the idea's pretty neat.  In my search, I saw a 
couple of references to the Diesels from MB "Smart" cars and, IIRC, a VW 
TDI being installed in bike frames.  It's apparently possible, but, like 
everything else, depends on how much time you want to put in.  It's been 
at least a year so I have no memory of the URLs I looked at. 

With the number of bikes I hear about mushed on the highways here, I'd 
think frames would be cheaper.  There was a fatality motorcycle wreck in 
the traffic reports this morning.  I don't think Texas, the land of the 
super-sized SUV, is necessarily the best place to ride....  Scary enough 
in a VW.
