[Vwdiesel] Anyone know how to use the VW210 TB tension gauge?

Thanks for the advice, but over here there's an entrance fee just to talk to
the people at the stealership. I'd also have to wait a long time before they
were servicing anything A2/B2...
I'm not a fisherman either... but my extensive tool range which includes a
fishermans scale does not run to a VW210; which would cost 10x what I paid
for the car... Being as this is a forum for helping people as well as being
helped; I thought the knowledge of the official scale converted into a
figure of so many lb per cm [1/2"] deflection would benefit those who panic
when tensioning their timing belts and who damage their I/P's by
over-tensioning their belts...

PS The Missus last week invested in an all singing all dancing electronic
fisherman's scale which she uses to weigh our racing ferrets!
