[Vwdiesel] Anyone know how to use the VW210 TB tension gauge?

Just looked at your pics. This gauge works the same as a micrometer. The
black scale is 1/10ths of the white scale and so you can ignore them. or aim
for your own satisfaction for the zero. The scale is probably some unknown
unit only known to VW. Maybe 0 to 50 'Hitlers' When the belt is put through
the 'fingers' and the diminishing scale is adjusted the tension on the belt
prevents the closing of the instrument which has a slip wratchet just the
same as a micrometer... Sloppy belt gives you 2 0r 3 Hitlers and a belt that
is undeflectable gives you 50 Hitlers....
