[Vwdiesel] cv joints?

They could be cv joints. It could also be a front wheel bearing. If the rubber boot is torn, it's probably a cv joint. If the wheel bearing needs to be replaced, you are in for some fun. I bought a special wheel bearing puller set at NAPA Auto Parts. Also, trying to remove the front circle clips was almost impossible (for me) until I took a small needle nosed vice grip pliers, filed the tips so I could get a grip, then out they easily came.I was then able to remove the bearing while still on the car with the bearing puller set I bought. This was on a Dasher. Maybe the Rabbit is different.
