This month's Diesel Progress, p 38 has an article on Moller's
Volantor, which uses multifuel wankel engines to drive a 
multiengine fan array for a hovercraft.  

I might even trade my 91 Jetta for one of these.

Not clear how I'm going to get a multiengine rotorcraft rating 
easily.  The article states that the vehicle is considered 
a ground effect vehicle, and may not therefore fall under FAA
control.  

If only money and time were unlimited!
