[Vwdiesel] salvage yard start up

My dad and I are looking at the possibility of starting a salvage yard.  
It will probably be an auto salvage just because of the abundance of 
available "product", but aircraft, large truck, and farm/heavy equipment 
have also been floated as possibilities.  Has anyone on the list had any 
experience with the running or setup of this kind of business.  We did 
spend about an hour with the owners of Green Meadow Auto Salvage in 
Helena MT, and learned some of the particulars of running a yard in MT.
