after the oil gets pulled from the tank it goes thorugh a 16 plate FPHE which will bring up the veggie to aprox 10F below the temperature of the coolant and then it goes through an electrical heater of 220W , filter to catch any carbon and finaly injection line heaters; i will add a thermal switch on the return that controls the inline heater. i think the flow of the veggie to the IP should be good but i want to warm/hot veggie at startup in the cold -30C if it ever arrives . weather is crazy these days in montreal.
keep the ideas coming, i have spent enough on this conversion and i want a low budget 120V heater.
thanks

think of would be would it cook the oil immediately
surrounding the dipstick heater? I've heard about
that concern with some other heaters. (mainly
glowplug type heaters in the oil fuel lines) The
concern is that carbon will break off the heater and
find its way down the fuel system.
