[Vwdiesel] Car won't start

Well its another exciting morning with my Jetta
I went out to crank it up and start it warming so I can take the wife to
work, and it cranks, but never starts, not even a pop.
I checked the fuel and it is apparently getting fuel, maybe not enough....
I had just replaced the No. 2 cylinder fuel line yesterday because it broke.
I am at a loss, I checked the fuel switch in the IP, the oil switch on the
filter, the fuel.
It just won't start
Any clues as to what to do after I recharge my battery?
