  That'd be ovekill I'd think.  You have about a 14gal tank on 
your pickup.  That'd be about 50:1  Plenty enough for full 
lubrication.  Depending on the 2 cycle engine, 100:1 is often 
good enough.  I usually put (when I bother to do it) about 
4 to 6 oz (~1/3 pint) to the tank on my Rabbit.  I'd get 
the same results for quieting, smoke reduction, etc. with 
that amount as I did with a full quart.  I seem to recall I 
was shooting for about 200:1
