	Thanks for sharing your experience. The truck turned out to be an
'83, with the naturally aspirated and underpowered Mitsubishi/ Perkins
engine, and more problems than I have time to remedy.

I wasn't aware that Ford offered a diesel option in the Ranger but they did
in the Ford Escort & Tempo as well as their Mercury counterparts, the Tracer
& Tempo.
