[Vwdiesel] Cleaning needed? - Update

I'd say if you have it apart, go ahead and clean it.
Seems to me that at least a little bit, the buildup
and it's effects would be exponential. The more that
there is in there, the more there is for the next
layer to stick to. And, since there is a layer in
there effectively making it smaller inside, the next
layer will make it small still.
My dad's wasn't too bad the other day but cleaning it
out made it smoke a bit less. Adjusting the fueling a
couple days later made it smoke way less! (I had
"lied" the computer too much when we added the bigger
nozzles. I turned that down a bit and now no plumes
of smoke!)
