[Vwdiesel] Coolant tank swap options for 82 Diesel tank and hoses

[82 Diesel Westy]

My original 82 tank is done, seam split.  I need the
van this weekend.  I have original 82 diesel steel
pipes and hoses.  Bus depot shows they have a tank but
I am sure they do not.  068121405D  I can try the
dealer but I would rather move to the 85 and up water
boxer tank.

What do I have to do for this, a few extentions on my
coolant hoses and some mounting issues.  
Will my diesel expansion tank cap work for the water
boxer tank and I have a coolant level sensor I can
stick in there for a plug.  I have an A1 Jetta tank,
but way different.  I have A2 Jetta tank but also
mounts way different and does not have double
connections to tank for hoses, it only has 1.

Help, I got tickets to Pocono NASCAR race for Sunday
and need to camp.
