Has anyone installed any type of drain for the coolant system in their jetta, are there any aftermarket peices? I was thinking maybe there's a different model that I might be able to Frankenstien into it.
It's such a mess to drain these things.I realize it would have to be at the lowest point in the system, so it would likely be some kind of a inline hose drain.

I've had to drain it a couple times lately to fix a problem with the rad fan not turning on even when the engine says it's really hot,I changed the fan (it had a dead spot on it ),the thermostat, and the thermoswitch, the circuit is fine, the pump is good, I can manually turn both speeds on, by using jumpers on the plug of the thermoswitch.
It's got to be the rad, probably clogged not letting the coolant circulate properly, because when I manually activate the fan, it doesn't do a very good job cooling it down,it only cools the area behind the fan. To cool the engine down I have to turn on the cabin heater, which also tells me the rest of the system is circulating properly.
The previous owner did have a bad head gasket on it replaced, so there is a oil film in the coolant tank, I did a rad flush, it didn't really help.
