I like the suggestion already.

For a simpler, but not quite as nice drain, here's what you do. Get one of 
those "flush" kits that you attach a water hose to. Install the drain 
fitting low on the hose from the water pipe to the water pump. If you can't 
get to that one, install it on the water pump to head hose. Either way, it 
will drain a good bit of coolant out of the car.
