With the history it sounds like the radiator could be somewhat
clogged at least. Personally I say don't waste your time trying
to clean it. It's had a long life and replacing it is probably your
best bet. (I've ended up soon changing any I've had tanked.)
You should see 180F to 190F for a happy engine. :-)
Smoking sounds a little like bad/worn injectors, which lead to
higher EGT and internal temps as well. Latest sounds a lot like a
leaking head gasket. Start it up, remove the reservoir cap and
watch the return stream. It should be a stream. Rev the engine
and observe the change. It should definitely be a solid stream
now. Any more than an odd bubble here or there is probably a
blown head gasket. No stream then check that small hose for
clogging. Some have a restrictor in them. Check again if you
find anything. If you still don't have flow then the water pump
would be suspect (loose impeller). Head gaskets almost always
blow bubbles, so go through cold to hot, idle, rev'd up a bit and
so on.
Oil leaking at #3 would be the oil seal in the head gasket, Not
terminal but not a happy thing either, messy at the least.
I manage to get the #2 injector out by rotating the pump,
removing the aneroid's lid or using a 1 1/16 box end wrench
on the injector. At the dealer one guy ground an upper
corner off of the injector socket to get it in there.
     Loren
