With the ARP racing studs, would you stay with the same torque limits as in the Bentley, go higher or lower? Would you go 600 or 1,000 miles & re-torque or start the engine, warm it up, re-torque when warm, let cool & re-torque. Guess there are many schools of thought on this, Loren, what do you recommend? I would think it better to re-torque when the engine is cold as metal expands when hot, contracts when cold. I plan to use anti-seize on the studs to make them easier to remove at a later date, unless you recommend against this. Expect the studs to arrive on Thurs. & work on the engine on Friday.

My Raceware studs recommend 3 step torquing to 50 ft.lb. (engine oil for lube) then run
the engine to temp, cool down and re-torque to 50 ft.lb. again. Compared to torquing the
stretch bolts, the studs are a real pleasure to tighten.
