I would believe that the ARP studs will probably come with torque
specs. I haven't used ARP's but I have used 3 or 4 sets of Race-Ware and
they do specify torque and technique

Ordered the 12mm ARP racing studs & tapped the block bolt holes out to take
the new studs. Question? With the ARP racing studs, would you stay with the
same torque limits as in the Bentley, go higher or lower? Would you go 600
or 1,000 miles & re-torque or start the engine, warm it up, re-torque when
warm, let cool & re-torque. Guess there are many schools of thought on this,
Loren, what do you recommend? I would think it better to re-torque when the
engine is cold as metal expands when hot, contracts when cold. I plan to use
anti-seize on the studs to make them easier to remove at a later date,
unless you recommend against this. Expect the studs to arrive on Thurs. &
work on the engine on Friday.
