[Vwdiesel] Quantum lives...

Post 1975 but Pre August '86 gassers  pass with <4.5% CO, pre '93 is <3.5%

Diesels post 1975 but pre '93 is 2 for n/a and 3 for turbo... Not clear on 
these units but they are a measure of opacity?? Smoke allowed as long as it 
doesn't constitute a hazard to the vehicle behind!

Surely my Quantae have a smaller footprint than something new that only does 
20mpg to the gallon...
The gasser does 30mpg [US] and the TD does 52mpg [US] How many cars have 
they saved from being manufactured  by staying alive? 40 yrs between them? 
6, 8, or maybe 10 cars?
