I have a 1993 Rockwood 30 foot diesel pusher for sale. It has about every option or extra you can think of EXCEPT slide outs & rear TV camera. It has a Cummings 190 diesel, Alison transmission, & Spartan chasses. The engine, transmission, & differential have been changed to Amsoil synthetic fluids & has an Amsoil dual remote oil filter system. The Rockwood only has around 45,000 miles. All tires have deep tread but the front Michelins are 8 years old & the rear Goodyear's are older, were on the unit when I bought it in 1999, so you might want to replace them if you want to do some cross country driving. Since 1999 I have only had it on two major trips. In 1999 I trailered my 1955 Packard Clipper to the Packard Centennial in Warren, Ohio & in 2003, to the Ford Centennial in Dearborn, Mich. trailering my 1941 Ford. Otherwise, it has been sitting most of the time as my wife doesn't care much for R/V ing & I will reach age 74 this May. I averaged around 10 MPG trailering these cars back east from my home in rural Nevada City, Calif., near Sacramento. Gassers would have done about 5 or 6 MPG doing this.
I am asking $30,000, will consider reasonable offers & cheaper trades plus cash. I would be particularly interested in taking a VW TDI (prefer wagon), Older Mercedes 300 D, SD, or wagon converted to run on waste vegetable oil, Toyota Prius, minivan or diesel pickup in part trade. If interested, contact me, William J Toensing at (530)477-1128 or at toensing at wildblue.net . I do have pictures of the Rockwood on my computer if you can tell me how to email them. I am not as computer smart as most of you.
