I've had a few things balanced and the machinist that was
doing them for me told me not to waste my money on doing
any small 4 cylinder's. He said they come in so balanced it's
not worth wasting the money. He said the flywheels might
be worth it. Pistons are easy to DIY so check them and rods
were kinda do or don't. Hard to DIY but after resizing them it
might not hurt. Then again the diesel doesn't turn all that high
of rpm...
I always do the pistons to a gram or so and the rods to a
couple since it's hard to know which end to take it off of. A
little porting and mostly blending in the head seems to help.

Had him do the clutch boss on my Honda 350. Odd results.
Vibration was better across the board except at one, small rpm
range. It was a tad worse. Overall much better though. Too
bad it's a pressed crank and I couldn't do that heavy thing!
