[Vwdiesel] Starter won't

I just yesterday had a very similar problem and found that it was dirty
battery terminals. Not at the usual place, but actually inside, between the
cable and the end that slips over the battery terminal. I had to put new
ends on my battery cables and clean up the cables themselves before I put
the new ones on. Now it starts up crazy fast!! :)
