[Vwdiesel] Plastic VW parts-what falls apart?

  I'm having similar shrinkage on the side moulding inserts on 
Dad's pickup.  It uses riveted on holders that a trapazoidal-ish 
plastic piece fits in with a couple slots along near the bottom 
of it.  Not only are most of the 6 pieces about an inch short, I 
noticed the other day that someone decided to steal one of them.
:-(  If anybody sees any of these in a yard, I could use a couple 
pieces now.  One to replace and one to cut up and repair.
