I get most of my parts from www.partsgeek.com They have two catalogs
for auto parts and nearly anything for VW's. Shipping is free if your
purchase comes to $50. You can use Paypal to pay! If you order from both
catalogs the orders are not combined.... So shipping can come into play
if you don't meet the $50 minimum under each catalog. I usually buy from
the Stopshopanddrive catalog but the other catalog has the under car
shift boots for Rabbits!

Yes, the tool seems to be from some German company, not sure where the
guy I got the filters from obtained it from. It is an impressive piece
of steel. Also the little tabs are undercut a little in order to not
slip out of the fixture on the bottom of the filter.

Thanks, that looks like the best option, below the list price and no
shipping, can't beat it. Also, they list the filter brand, which is
handy, seems many of the on-line places just list "Oil filter", no idea
what you are getting.
