[Vwdiesel] a3 Jetta hood won't open

  A1 an A2 can generally be opened with a longish screwdriver 
or other probe and pushing/prying on the lever the cable pulls.
Sometimes takes 5 minutes or so to catch it right and get it 
far enough. 
  Release cable either slipped or got pinched and the housing 
accordianed up shorter.
