[Vwdiesel] a3 Jetta hood won't open

Thanks, I have pulled the entire grille (the tabs were already broken,
and it was wired on :)

I'm thinking the cable is disconnected. I unscrewed the handle from
inside the car. I can pull the wire further than normal, and then it
stops like it's stuck on something.

Now I'm faced with a few little openings in the latch housing.

I'm looking for a picture or advice on where to push/pull to open it.

I remember the ball hooks on in the bottom middle and pulls to the
driver's side, but that's about it.

Will.
